Bad Oeynhausen, May 4th 2007 – In line with the engineering of the
organizational structure, Balda AG transfers further responsibilities to
the regional CEOs. The regional CEOs are now assuming responsibility for
areas which so far had been managed by the CTO (Chief Technology Officer).
The global coordination of these issues will continue to be run on Group
level. A separate Board of Directors function, however, is not justified
any longer.
As a consequence, the Board of Directors member Ralf Ackermann,
responsible for Technology, is leaving Balda with immediate effect. The
Supervisory Board of Balda likes to thank Mr. Ackermann for his long
standing contribution to the company.
